The Ted Lindeman
Outreach Foundation -

The Nick DiMaria Foundation selected The Ted
Lindeman Outreach Foundation as the recipient of the proceeds from their 4th
annual Golf Outing and Banquet, which was held on June 12, 2009 at Bucks County
Country Club. Ellen Lindeman, President and founder of The Ted Lindeman Outreach
Foundation, attended the banquet and accepted the award in memory of her husband
Ted, who died of esophageal cancer in 2004 at the age of 33. Ted’s death left
Ellen a young widow with two children, Taylor – age 5 and Luke – age 3. Friends,
neighbors and members of the Warwick community rallied around Ellen in her time
of grief and held a fundraiser to help ease her difficult transition into
becoming a widow with young children to support. In 2005, Ellen took on the
cause and began raising money to help other families who were faced with the
loss of a parent. She formed The Ted Lindeman Outreach Foundation (a 501 C-3
non-profit organization) to provide emotional and financial assistance to
grieving families in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Through the generosity of
the DiMaria Foundation and the DiMaria family, Ellen Lindeman will be able to
assist several local families who have contacted her for help.
The Nick DiMaria Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in
memory of Nick DiMaria, by his children Sue, Nick Jr., Tony, and Mike, along
with a group of their friends. The Foundation’s objective is to honor Nick Sr.’s
memory by continuing his mission of helping others in need. The Foundation does
so by organizing events to raise money for various local charitable causes with
the goal of reaching out to provide support, friendship and hope where it is
most needed. For more information about the Nick DiMaria Foundation, please
